Kidron Valley

Camp Thurman is committed to expanding its ministry and providing premier outdoor experiences throughout the DFW area. Central to its strategic plan is the renovation of Kidron Valley, including a new ropes course that will offer younger campers new challenges, provide versatile programming for schools and community groups, and create an inclusive area where families can enjoy adventure together—ensuring Camp Thurman continues to serve more participants safely and meaningfully for years to come.

Where it's needed most

As a non-profit camping ministry, we have an ongoing need for capital improvements, upkeep, and maintenance across our property and programs. Our “Where It’s Needed” fund allows us to direct donations to the areas of greatest need — whether that’s repairing pool pumps, updating program equipment, supporting scholarships, or maintaining our facilities so every camper can have a safe, welcoming, and life-changing experience.
