Preview Day

$50 per camper

Preview Day will take place Friday, May 31st from our normal Day Camp times of 8:30-3:30. Preview Day is just like a normal day at camp, so everything that your campers needs (a lunch, closed-toe shoes, bathing suit) will be the same as a regular week. The one exception is snack money. With your camper’s registration, they will receive their pick of snack for free on Preview Day.

Ages 4-11 are eligible to register. There is no half-day program for Preview Day; our 4 year-old campers are invited to stay all day!

Preview Day

Preview Day is our annual one day program we hold before our summer programs start. We often call it our ``Summer Kick-Off Day``, as campers at Preview Day will be the first ones that we get to serve each summer. Every activity that we offer during regular day camp will be available, meaning every camper will get to swim, participate in a high or low ropes course, play games and watch skits!

If you are a new family to Camp Thurman, Preview Day is a perfect setting to come and experience Camp for the first time! Both you as a parent, and your campers, will get to see how CT is run, from drop-off and pick-up, to how much fun we pack into every single day!

Power Pole

Thrill seekers rejoice, this element requires maximum effort for the most fun! There is nothing more rewarding than catching that trapeze!
The Rock

One of three pools, the Rock has ziplines, inflatables, and ledges to have fun in the pool!
Roxburgh's Ropes

Choose your path, and climb through the tree canopy in our two-lane ropes course!
Quantum Leap

Our most challenging element, Quantum Leap has three different free-fall options!
Sea of Galilee

Campers can cool off at the Sea of Galilee while also enjoying water slides, climbing walls, and beach area.
Slip N Slide

A CT classic, our giant Slip N Slides are fun for all ages.
Launch Pad

With Launch Pad, everyone gets to experience some CT ropes. Launch Pad is exclusive to our younger age campers.
Ranges

A summer camp staple, campers can hone their archery skills at our range.
Crafts

Another camp classic, crafts is a chance to try out the more creative side of life.
Games

Slap Dodgeball, Capture The Flag, Counselor Hunt, and more camp classics played every day!
Bible Study

We have dedicated times to learning more about our Lord, and learning what the Gospel means to us throughout life.
Hangout Areas

Our low ropes areas are a great place for groups to have fun while staying in shaded areas.
Snacks

Campers can rest and refuel everyday with a bite to eat from our snack shop.
Pedal Carts

Race your friends or imagine you are driving the world's coolest cars with our pedal carts.
Zipline

Our canopy-to-canopy zipline is the hallmark of Camp Thurman. It is the smoothest, easiest element we have!
Tarzan Swing

Our three-seat giant swing is an upgrade to a playground classic!
K-Klimb

A unique playground made for young campers ready to explore.
