In 1969, Iva and Thurman Roxburgh generously opened their spacious 14-acre backyard to the youth of a local church to use as the site of their week-long day camp. In the years to follow, that offer continued and the number of children attending grew. Spaces were transformed, hearts were changed, and a new ministry was born.
As we enter our 55th year of ministry, Camp Thurman remains committed to our mission to share God’s love and help people pursue their identity in Christ. We appreciate the opportunity to to partner with other local organizations and businesses who recognize the importance of Kingdom work and investing back into our local community, youth and families, and believe these partnerships can be mutually beneficial.

Annually, we are blessed to be able to serve over 7,000 youth, or 4,300 families, through our summer camp programs and welcome and additional 6,500 participants in our year-round leadership and team-building programs. Additionally, we reach over 15,000 followers across our social media platforms.
