ShootingStar wants to pursue missions and church planting in the future, and she hopes to move
to South Africa one day. She has worked at Camp Thurman since 2023. She currently works at Lake
Church in the children’s ministry and teaches at a preschool during the school year. She loves
working at Camp Thurman because it brings together her favorite things; kids, camp, and an
opportunity to share the gospel. Her favorite thing to do at camp is swimming.

Come, let’s worship and bow down; let’s kneel before the Lord our maker. For He is our God, and
we are the people of His pasture, the sheep under His care.
